Consultation Policies & Special Conditions

At Rossario George, every private commission is approached with exceptional care, creativity, and craftsmanship. To ensure a seamless and personalized experience, we ask all prospective clients to review the following policies before submitting an inquiry.

1. Consultation Fees

All private design consultations are subject to a consultation fee, disclosed prior to booking. All consultation fees are non-refundable, including in the event of client cancellation, rescheduling outside the permitted window, or failure to attend. Any exceptions required by applicable law will be honored.

2. Appointment Acceptance

Rossario George reserves the right to accept, decline, or request additional information regarding any consultation or private commission at its discretion, subject to applicable law. Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee an appointment, acceptance of a project, or availability of services. Any fees collected for appointments declined by Rossario George before services are provided will be refunded.

3. Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to request an appointment change. Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval. Missed appointments and late cancellations may require a new consultation fee.

4. Private Measurements & Fittings

In-residence measurements and fittings are currently available exclusively within Washington State, subject to location, scheduling, and availability. Additional travel charges may apply and will be disclosed before booking. Rossario George reserves the right to decline or discontinue an in-person visit for safety or logistical reasons.

5. Custom Design Pricing

All custom garments, footwear, and accessories are individually quoted based on design complexity, materials, craftsmanship, and production requirements. Prices discussed during initial consultations are estimates until confirmed in a written proposal.

6. Deposits & Payment

Accepted commissions require a deposit before design development, material sourcing, or production begins. The deposit amount, payment schedule, and applicable cancellation or refund conditions will be outlined in the client's written agreement. Final payment must be received before delivery or release of the completed creation.

7. Production Timelines

Custom creations require dedicated design and production time. Estimated completion dates will be communicated before the commission begins. Timelines may be affected by material availability, client approvals, fitting adjustments, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Rush commissions may incur additional charges.

8. Design Changes & Revisions

Design specifications will be reviewed and approved before production. Changes requested after final design approval may result in additional charges and revised completion dates. Significant design changes may require a new quotation.

9. Fittings & Alterations

The number of fittings and alterations included in each commission will be established in the written agreement. Additional fittings, alterations resulting from changes in client measurements, or revisions outside the approved design scope may incur additional fees.

10. Custom Order Cancellations & Returns

Because private commissions are created to individual specifications, cancellations, returns, and refunds are subject to the terms of the signed commission agreement and applicable consumer protection laws. Clients should review these conditions before authorizing production. Nothing in this policy limits remedies required by law for defective or nonconforming goods.

11. Creative Direction & Design Rights

Rossario George retains ownership of its original sketches, design concepts, patterns, and other creative materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commissioning a custom creation does not automatically transfer intellectual property rights or guarantee design exclusivity.

12. Client Privacy & Confidentiality

Personal information, measurements, and design preferences will be handled with discretion and used to provide requested services in accordance with our privacy policy. Client photographs, testimonials, and identifiable commission details will not be used publicly without appropriate permission.

13. Respectful Client Experience

Rossario George is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment for clients of all genders. Harassment, threatening conduct, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. The atelier may discontinue services in such circumstances, subject to applicable contractual obligations and law.

14. Final Design Approval

Clients will be asked to review and approve the final design specifications before production begins. Approved specifications will serve as the basis for the completed commission, subject to any subsequently agreed written changes.

15. Delivery & Shipping

Delivery, shipping, insurance, and any applicable taxes or duties will be addressed in the final quotation. Responsibility for shipping costs and delivery arrangements will be confirmed before production.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By submitting a Private Atelier inquiry, I acknowledge that:

• Consultation fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly provided in the booking terms.

• Rossario George reserves the right to decline appointments and commissions, consistent with applicable law.

• Custom design pricing and timelines are determined individually.

• A consultation does not guarantee acceptance of a commission.

• Additional terms and payment requirements will apply if my project is accepted.
